Shrewsbury Recreation Summer Youth Basketball
Location: Dean Park Basketball Courts
Tuesdays: July 8 - August 12 (6 games) Boys Grades 3-7
Thursdays: July 10 - August 14 (6 games) Girls Grades 3-7

Open to Shrewsbury residents only.
*Registration open until May 16. Then volunteer coaches will be contacted and teams will be made.

Grades 3 - 7 (current school grade is used to determine eligibility)
Games start after 5:30pm (schedule is TBD based on enrollment)
Cost: $99 per participant (Not including jersey)
*An online jersey shop will be available after registration

Sign-up for the summer recreational basketball league! Teams will be divided equally by skill level. Please indicate if you are willing to coach when registering online. Teams will be predetermined like the winter basketball league (no on site assessment). Teams and schedules will be emailed before the start of the season. There are no weekly practices, just games for the summer league.

Basketball Refund Policy: Refunds are possible with e-mail receipt/confirmation by June 1st, minus $15 administration fee. After June 1st, if you cancel anytime before the first practice you will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given after the first practice.

Volunteer coaches and assistants are needed- We do provide additional guidance/training for parents that would like to coach but do not have coaching experience. All coaches need to fill out a CORI background check each year for our department.

We do not honor players requests asking for a specific coach or friends.

When you register, please select the grade that you child is currently in for the 2024 - 2025 school calendar year.
