Tennis & Pickleball Permits (Seasonal)

All participants will be emailed with their username and password for the tennis permits system, please allow up to 3 business days. You can also email us at parkrec@shrewsburyma.gov that you have purchased the permit and we will set you up in the tennis permit system.

RULES FOR TENNIS & PICKLEBALL PERMIT
1) Permit holders are allowed to hold two current permits at any time and period and no more than one permit for play in any given day. Schedules are available on a 7-day rolling schedule.
2) Permits must be reserved in advance and the current day's permits will be closed at 12:01 am.
Reservations will not be accepted on the current day.
3) Any abuse of the system, we reserve the right to cancel your membership.
4) We reserve the right to change the policies of the program as deemed necessary.
5) We reserve the right to limit the number of permit holders per year.
6) Reservations are available for one (1) hour time slots.
7) Court # 2 (near backboard) is not online for reservations at Dean Park
and is left open for a first come, first serve basis.
8) Residents may use the tennis courts without permits on a space-available basis, without charge.
9) Use of tennis courts for- profit is not allowed.
10) Tennis permits can be obtained for Dean Park and the Oak Middle School courts. Jordan Pond has four pickleball courts to reserve, residents are able to bring portable nets  until permanent nets are installed this year.
11) All courts are subject to closure for renovations or repairs at any time.

12) Proof of residency required. If you are not listed in town census please provide copy of SELCO light or cable bill.
13) Players must yield to a permit holder. Must have actual dated permit in hand to use courts, application only is not considered a valid permit.
14) Only one application will be approved per household.
15) Shrewsbury residents only.
16) Courts are not available during town sponsored tennis lessons.

HOURS: Lights turn off at 9:45pm, park closes at 10pm.
