2025 Traditional Special Olympics Skiing Details:
Age: 16 and up experienced Novice to Advanced skiers.
Dates: Mondays beginning January 6, 2025 6:00PM to 8:00PM weather permitting. Last practice Monday February 24, 2025.
Note: Lift tickets provided for all practices and state finals.
Location: Ski Ward, Shrewsbury MA
State Final: Friday February 28, 2025 at Berkshire East in Charlemont, MA.
Registration is limited. Preference given to Shrewsbury residents or current members of the program as long as you register by the deadline.
NOTE: This is not a learn to ski program. Participants must meet these requirements to participate:
-          Must have your own ski equipment including boots, poles, goggles and helmet.
-          Skis and bindings must have been inspected by a certified technician.
-          Must have appropriate outdoor clothing (team ski parka provided).
-          Must be able to ski and ride ski lifts independently.
-          An assessment of participants ski ability may be required.
