2024 Special Olympics Basketball Details:
Junior Unified Team:
Ages 6 to practice, 8 - 15 to compete - if you will turn 16 before April 6th, 2025, you will sign up under the Senior Unified Team (see directly below).
Location: Sherwood Middle School / Tuesdays / 5:30 - 6:30 PM
Start Date - December 3, 2024
League Play: In addition to practices, there will be league play dates (scrimmages) to be determined throughout the season.
End Date - State Finals April 6, 2025
Preference given to Shrewsbury Residents and those out of town athletes who are grandfathered in.
What to wear: Sneakers / black shorts / gold shirts
What to bring: Water bottle

Thursday Senior Unified Team: Open only to current members of the team at this time.

*Unless you were previously on the Thursday night Sr Team, please sign up for Tuesday night teams. We will be looking for volunteer partners to play on the court alongside our special Olympic athletes.
You must register on the Parks and Rec Website, otherwise, you will not receive team emails, updates, weather cancellations, etc.
