REGISTRATION FOR REC SUMMER: ADVENTURE DAYS OPENS AT 8 AM ON TUESDAY, MARCH 4!

Weeks H & I (August 11-22)
Program Time: 9 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday
Ages: 6-12 (children must be in this age range prior to their first day of Rec Summer: Adventure Days)
Cost: $425 Resident / $445 Non-Resident
AM Care and PM Care are not available for this program.

Rec Summer: Adventure Days
These 2 additional weeks of program in August are active and fast-paced, with exciting activities and daily trips, ideal for kids who want more fun and excitement and families who are still in need of late summer care.

*Please note, all entertainers, swimming opportunities and field trips are subject to change at any time due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Refunds cannot be issued for such changes. We will give families as much notice as possible to plan for changes. Waivers and permission slips may need to be filled out per activity/trip.
*Weekly emails with specific information will be sent to those registered. 
*Swimming is contingent on Christian’s Law. This is a Massachusetts general law that all programs are required to follow. To learn more about Christian's Law, click here: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/christians-law

Week H (August 11- 15)
Monday: Apex
Tuesday: Kayaking & Swimming
Wednesday: Canobie Lake Park
Thursday: Kimball Farm
Friday: Field Day

Week I (August 18-22)
Monday: Urban Air
Tuesday: Salisbury Beach
Wednesday: West End Creamery
Thursday: Bowling & Movies
Friday: Field Day


**Rec Summer Refund Policy:
-Registration opens on March 25, 2025
-Registrant-initiated cancellations must be requested via email to parkrec@shrewsburyma.gov
-From March 25 - April 30, all cancellations will be subject to a $50 admin fee per week per child cancelled. The remainder can be refunded in the form of a household account credit for use on future programs or via Town issued check which may take up to 30 days to receive. 
-From May 1 - May  31, cancellations will be receive a 50% refund only for each week per child. 
-From June 1 - August 22 refunds will NOT be granted for Rec Summer cancellations in any amount. MAY 31 is the last day to cancel registrations for Rec Summer to receive any type of refund. 
-If your schedule has changed, and there is a spot open in another week of Rec Summer, you may request to transfer weeks at no additional charge. 
-AM & PM care cancellations will be subject to a $5 (each) admin fee (per week) and will be refunded in the form of household account credits ONLY. 
-If the Recreation Department needs to cancel Rec Summer programs/weeks for any reason, you will receive a FULL refund via your choice of account credit or Town-issued check.
