This local adult co-ed softball league has been a longstanding tradition here in Shrewsbury, and we are back at it for Spring of 2025!

There are 4 returning teams listed below. If you have played previously or were invited to join a specific team, please sign up for that team.

If you have not played in this league previously, please register for "Team 5" or "Team 6".

The Recreation Department is looking for players to fill two adult co-ed softball teams for our spring 6 team league this year. Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this is a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy friendly competition, and get outside this Spring!


  • Games will be held at Dean Park on Monday and Thursday evenings, beginning April 28. Each team will play at least one game per week, either 7 or 8:30 pm. Certain weeks a team will have games on each night, depending on the schedule, so please make sure you have availability both nights and for both time slots throughout the season.
  • Registration is open to anyone ages 18+
  • Note: Teams must have at least 5 female participants on each roster, so trades may be made after registration.
  • Registration opens on March 4 at 8 am.
  • Cost: $100 per participant. Fee covers field permits, lights, umpires, game bats and softballs. Each player must have their own glove and batting helmet (not required).
  • Some softball experience and knowledge is necessary, this league is not intended for true beginners.
  • Schedule and additional league rules will be provided after registration.
